Best Day Ever: Custom Wedding Invitation Set

When I was approached by this couple to do their wedding invitations, they gave me so many amazing ideas that I didn’t know what to do with them! They wanted a very bold statement of “best day ever!” in their wedding invitations with a gorgeous poster typeface. On top of that, their wedding was going to be a destination wedding in Mexico, so they had to create a way for their guests to tell their taxi drivers where they needed to go!

The end result of our collaboration is below. The invitations were printed on a gorgeous 130lb plain stock. I custom made the map for them and laid it all out on a 5×5 square invitation with matching addressed envelopes and labels (not pictured). What a treat!

We’re Getting Married! Custom Wedding Invitation Set

I recently had the pleasure of working with a couple from Sweden on their amazing custom wedding invitations. The bride wanted a unique blend of fun type and traditional Norwegian wedding text. Her and her fiance knew that they wanted hearts to be incorporated into the theme. Once I gathered her notes I went to the drawing board!

I came up with a cute design with modern text juxtaposed with fun and sketchy type faces and design elements. The result was a fun, modern invitation that her guests are sure to love.

A Featurette

I get a lot of requests from brides for custom maps on their itineraries or directions insert of their invitations. This is has got to be one of the most interesting and fun parts of wedding invitation design. For the bride, it is an affordable and personal way to help your guests get to the church on time!
